These beautiful dangling orb earrings show off stunning mokume from every angle! Forged from twenty-five layers of copper and silver forged mokume gane suspended on a delicate silver wire - these sphere earrings are stunningly mesmerizing in their details. Vanessa and Will learned the process of creating mokume gane together at Earlham College. Part of their training was making mokume billets and then forming them into vessels and different shapes. The spheres are a reference back to this share metal-forming process and a reminder of how far Will and Vanessa have come as metalsmiths. Each sphere is made from 2 separate pieces of mokume that are dapped and then soldered together to create these beautiful orbs.

Amethyst is known as the stone of balance. It has been thought to have calming properties that reduce stress, fear, and anxiety. It has been used to alleviate sadness, grief, and negativity in those who wear it. The ancient Greeks believed that this crystal got its purple color from the god of wine pouring grape juice over it! This pendant features a US-mined amethyst gemstone.
