We are in love with our rings and they are beyond anything that we would have ever imagined! Although we designed our rings separately, they complement each other perfectly! Our rings are beautiful and unique, and inspired by nature. We are honored to have worked with a small business based on ethical principals.

The thought of custom designing a ring was daunting, but the team made it easy and walked us through each step of the process with a series of zoom calls and emails. They were more than happy to schedule zoom calls when I needed help with the design elements. Communication was excellent, with all questions answered along the way. The team was very fun to worth with, and you can tell that they genuinely care about their clients and their work. We can’t wait to work with WR Metalarts to design our wedding bands and plan to use them for any future jewelry needs as well!

I cannot tell you enough about how amazing it was to work with Will and Rosie on this project. Their professionalism and craftsmanship knows no bounds. I'm a Vermont native and I had always wanted a Vermont craftsmen to construct a wedding band for me. Will went above and beyond with this project. I happened to have my Grandfather's gold wedding band in my possession, however, I had always wanted a wooden wedding band. Will, was able to take my Grandfather's ring and without recasting the metal he was able to reshape the ring into my size. He then took applewood from Rosie's family farm in Vermont and shaped the wood into a band that now encapsulates my Grandfather's wedding band. This ring is full of detail, history, and meaning to not only me but also to my family.
As I said, I cannot say enough about my experience with Will and Rosie. If you happen to come across them I can assure you they will craft you one of your most treasured possessions!

We eloped in March and I didn’t have the time to get him a wedding band. I was using my great grandmother’s from 1922 and I wanted him to feel he had the same sentimental attachment to his ring. He wanted something wood-inspired and this was perfect. I was worried about getting it in time for our “first kiss” anniversary on the summer solstice and the team was so helpful in making sure that happened!
The ring arrived in beautiful packaging a few days ahead and I was able to surprise him with something stunning that we will have for as long as my ring has lasted! It is finely made and fits very well (accurate to his size 9). Would highly recommend the friendliness, craftsmanship, and dedication to service and design!

My band was fashioned and delivered well within the estimate provided! The texture looks gorgeous in different lighting, but it's also subtle enough not to be overly distracting. The ring is comfortable and fits as expected (we used one of their ring sizers). The presentation on delivery was also wonderful. All in all, would highly recommend working with this lovely team!

After debating between the mokume gane yellow gold band and a few other another designs (the birch band & woodgrain carved band), I decided to go with the mokume gane because it is so unique. I can tell how much attention to detail and love for the craft went into every aspect of its creation.Will and Jessica patiently answered all of my questions and made the process as smooth as possible, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The ring is a true piece of art!

The hammered finish is gorgeous and the white gold is so shiny it makes the pattern look like aspen leaves (to us at least). WRMetalArts were wonderful to work with and make high quality products. We would highly recommend their rings to anyone. We also custom designed a ring together and they made the process straightforward and fun. Will is great to work with and easy to communicate with. I wish I needed more rings because all their products are so wonderful!

Will took our ideas and put them to paper adding his own elements- allowing us to fine tune and narrow down our wonderful ring designs until we had the final draft! The whole process so far has been easy and it’s been great getting to know Will and more about the design process!

The pattern of the band is subtle and so interesting to look at.
I requested some modification and they were so accommodating and easy to work with.
The ring came 2 weeks earlier than expected in a very beautiful box.

I tried it on when it came in the mail and it's just perfect. The width (2.5mm) is delicate but still wide enough to appreciate the hammered texture. The rings (my partner ordered a similar one) also came much more quickly than was quoted.

I haven't taken it off (which is probably not what you would recommend) but it fits so well into my daily activities that I don't even realize I have it on. A ring of woven bands, both simple and complex, moving and strong much like Sarah, themself. Will Nevins-Alderfor made this half-articulated vision a true work of art. From his studio on the third floor of an old cotton-mill he wove beauty out of metal. When it came time for Scott’s ring, he wanted something that would have echo Sarah’s while being fully its own. This time it was Rosie Nevins-Alderfor who would gift us her talent to design something more than Scott hoped for. Scott’s ring was cast out of the metal of one of his grandfather’s wedding rings.

Every time we walked into Will and Rosie’s studio, they greeted us with the warmest of smiles and hugs. We are honored that they are part of our community and of this day.

I was blown away by [the] final set of designs - that's my ring! :)I can imagine you hear this often, but diving into the process of buying an engagement ring is exciting and scary. It can be challenging to narrow down preferences for something that seems so significant, let alone to be clear and honest about those preferences, but the two of you have made this process so open and flexible that I've felt comfortable and supported enough to check in, double back, change my mind...all of it.The space you've given me (and Jay!) to really sit with our preferences has allowed us to both be so confident about finalizing the design and moving forward with the construction process.We knew that there was something special about W.R. Metalarts before we reached out, and the way you have supported us through this process confirms our hunch. We are so grateful to have found you!

The original pair had the Greek key or eternity symbol running around it, with the design cut all the way through the metal. Will and Rosie were recommended to us, and we sent them pictures and specifications in March 2020 with the hopes that we would have the replacement ring by our 43rd anniversary in June. We received the new ring in May. In July 2019, I was out for an afternoon run and had parked my car, as always, on the street in a nice suburban neighborhood. It has always been my habit to remove my wedding ring before running to prevent losing it. Sometime during the 45-minutes that I was away, my car windows were smashed and two hidden backpacks were stolen. There were many things of value in those bags, and luckily my homeowners insurance covered the cost of replacing what was stolen. Even though it wasn’t the most expensive item stolen, my wedding ring was probably the most valuable to me. Before we got married in 1977, we found these gold rings in a shop window. We loved the design, and the price was within our limited budget. We’ve had lots of compliments over the years. We’ve never seen another set of rings like them. It’s great to have a ring back on my hand after a 10-month absence, and getting a replacement that so closely duplicates the original warms my heart.

Will and Jessica (I did not have the pleasure of working with Rosie) were phenomenal. Will's designs bring so many compliments even via a year's worth of remote teaching and Zoom meetings. Jessica is the best office manager I have every had the pleasure of working with and I miss emailing her. I felt truly like a friend and valued part of their WR Metalarts family throughout the process and I still do today. They are seriously quality humans who do quality work and who LISTEN to the customer, which is obviously so important when you are creating custom work. I will absolutely be purchasing from them again in the future. We had an engagement ring, matching band, and a separate band made and we adore them. So unique, such high quality and attention to detail, and they endlessly kept going to find the stone of my dreams. Our honeymoon was delayed and we were planning to go to Vermont...before we found WR Metalarts! Now, it's even more special to us that at least our rings came from Vermont and we will take our honeymoon sometime, returning our rings back to the place they were made and, hopefully, to thank Will and Jessica in person. We can't wait to make the trip and express our gratitude. A Google review will have to suffice for now! We love our rings. They are the shining star of our mid-COVID elopement. Speaking of, if you live out of state, don't hesitate to choose WR...we had a Zoom meeting to talk design and Jessica is responsive and detailed in her emails. I felt 100% comfortable the entire time. They also sent us a few snail mail samples, things to look at, etc. I can't say enough here. I know I'm forgetting a few things, but the main takeaway: This is quality jewelry from quality humans who care and want you to love what they are creating. It shows.

They walked my through picking out and customizing the perfect engagement ring. They are friendly, helpful, and produced a beautiful ring!

We messed up the sizing initially and there was only a week until the wedding. No problem, these guys had them resized and back to us with time to spare before the big day. Definitely looking forward to looking at this ring everyday!

Their beautiful mokume gane collection caught our eye while we were exploring jewelers, and we opted to design a custom engagement ring with them last year. The process was simple and fun from start to finish. We worked primarily with Will, and he was very receptive to our requests for adjustments and responded creatively to the thoughts we shared. We are very happy with the finished product, and are amazed that we were able to collaborate so deeply over email and video chat exclusively. This year, we decided to work with W.R. again to create our wedding bands. Will recommended a new design for my fiancé’s ring, a knife-edge band which turned out beautifully, and I went for a custom band to fit my engagement ring. Once again, I had a great time collaborating, this time primarily with Jessica, and I’m thrilled with the result. These are wonderful, talented people and I highly recommend working with them.

I had been looking for the perfect engagement ring for months from the big name stores and could not find it. After connecting with Will and the team here, I knew that I had found the right folks to help me design what ended up being the most perfect engagement ring. The entire process, from selecting a stone, to designing the look and feel was truly a fun process, even for someone like me who had no idea what I was doing and was intimidated by the entire process. Jessica and Will were excellent from the first time we met to discuss a custom design, and made the process completely seamless. I especially appreciated that they were able to work with me on a proposal timeline that aligned with a stressful travel schedule. Will created a wonderful custom ring that seamlessly incorporated heirloom stones and an excellent lab grown diamond that we are extremely happy with. I heard about Will and Rosie from a mutual friend years ago and kept them in the back of my mind as the relationship with my partner grew. When it came time to design our wedding bands, we knew we had to talk to WR Metal Arts before we looked anywhere else. BOY are we glad we did!

Will’s warm demeanor made us feel right at home (observances of COVID protocols also helped!) and his creative skills came to the fore as soon as we described what we were imagining. I designed the engagement ring for my partner elsewhere, which was a fun and informative process, but it didn’t carry the same weight and connection we established with the entire WR Metalarts team. We talked about what we wanted, why we wanted it and what these decisions ultimately meant to each of us. We only went to the shop that first visit, but the communication throughout the process made us feel like we were visiting on a weekly basis!

From the materials, to the sourcing of the stones, the team responded to every inquiry in a warm and timely manner. I was rather picky about the turquoise I was looking for and the team continually responded to my feedback until I was looking at the perfect stones in my inbox. Even with a last minute adjustment to my ring size (slightly smaller than originally planned because my fingers swell in the summer) the team took my request in stride and made it happen.

My wife’s band matches her engagement ring PERFECTLY, no small feat considering the shape was something Will had “not seen a lot of”. It is delicate, elegant and exactly what she hoped for!
