Mokume Square Cut Branch Ring
Deep blue-green Maine tourmaline with notched woodgrain Mokume Gane bring together the perfect combination of rustic elegance in this matching engagement ring and nested wedding band set. The clean lines of the square bezel setting elevate this design for the perfect modern twist on a non-traditional design.
Blue-Greene Tourmaline: 5mm square princess cut blue-green tourmaline, locally and sustainably mined in Maine, USA.
Mokume Gane is a Japanese form of bonding 25 layers of precious metal. It translates to "wood-grain metal" and was used to adorn the handles of Damascus steel and Samurai swords. Our mokume is forged, twisted and patterned by hand here in our Vermont jewelry studio.
